Four Lanterns Winery is a boutique, family-owned estate winery founded in 2013 by Jackie and Steve Gleason on the prolific west side of Paso Robles, in the Willow Creek District and Templeton Gap AVAs. Their flagship Glass Hawk Vineyard covers 35 acres and is certified organic as of 2024, producing Rhône varietals such as Viognier, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Graciano, Picpoul Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and Nebbiolo. Their second estate, Jackie’s Vineyard (about 20 acres), located just east of Glass Hawk in the Templeton Gap, specializes in Bordeaux and Spanish-style varietals—Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Tempranillo, Semillon. Together, these two vineyards empower winemaker Steve to craft balanced, complex estate wines that reflect the region’s hot days, cool nights, and mineral-rich calcareous soils.

Nestled on a historic apple-farm hill repurposed for viticulture, the winery offers a warm, relaxed tasting experience in a park-like setting. Guests enjoy complimentary live music on Saturdays, and a popular Sunday evening Concert Series from Memorial Day through Labor Day—perfect accompaniment to tastings of their award‑winning selections, including their spontaneous unfiltered Viognier and Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon crowd favorites. Four Lanterns is dog- and family-friendly, welcomes picnic-style visits (outside food is allowed), and also features “The Farmhouse,” a three-bedroom guesthouse on site ideal for wine country stays with vineyard views, a pool, and event amenities.
